This is a tough one as there are lots of things and not always the type of things you do every day, Alton Towers for example, as a general idea of fun there is nothing better than the good old giggle just from amusing personal chat with someone close so that is the perfect idea of fun. As an idea of fun for going out then again I like the simple pleasures teasing you if you lost at pool in a local pub (in a nice way of course), splashing about in the swimming pool or frolicking on a green hilltop with a picnic. I'm sure the grandeur of a royal variety performance is beautiful as a memento but not something I'd immediately class as FUN, I'm waffling now time to stop :-)
