I consider myself quiet with a sense of humor. I blossom with someone I feel comfortable with. I consider family very important. I am origianlly from the midwest (Chicago). I have studied and lived in Los Angeles, Columbia Univ. in NYC and San Francicso. I have worked primarily in the medical-dental field. I've worked as a nurse in acute care settings and in medical-surgical areas. Also, in dental offices as an office coordinator and assistant in the operative.
I find most things medical interesting. However, I have kind of drifted towards Integrative Medicine, where eastern meets western, so to speak. I have found Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture to be quite fascinating, and can be a useful adjunct to western medicine, although I have never studied this field, in the traditional sense. I like to keep abreast as to what is going on in the world...and am interested in politics and the environment.

I usually spend my free time trying to learn more about TCM and the actions and medicinal applications of Chinese herbs. I research various medical topics, visiting the elderly in retirement homes and hospitals and trying to assess their emotional status in an effort to bring them some measure of dignity, comfort and support. I receive tremendous satisfaction in knowing I am doing some good, making their lives more pleasant, and letting them know someone cares! I know they are appreciative. I also enjoy learning about their lives.. Working with young children can also be rewarding and an uplifing experience.

I love nature and the California coast line. I think many parts are beautiful.I enjoy being near the water, which I find relaxing.In addition, I enjoy watching marine life, changes in coastal terrain, animals, and of course...the fresh air!

I enjoy going to see a good movie or live play, dancing, and exploring San Francisco and the Bay area for it's beauty, culture and ethnic communities, museums ...dining out. In addition, I put GREAT IMPORTANCE on family. I like to be somewhat connected to my roots. My parents just cellebrated their 60th wedding anniversary and, I hope they cellebrate many more !. I would love to eventually meet someone I could spend the rest of my live with. I am interested in an established man who is patient, caring, educated, sincere, undetstanding, giving, humorus and empathetic, who is able to express his feelings and is interested in the finer things in life. I would like to be treated as special by the one I love, and I would do the same. I love a man who is not afraid to help out around the house, and enjoys living.I also like to relax at home watching a movie or CSI, sitcom or comedy and cooking. I am looking for a comfortable relationship with potential. I consider myself Jewish, and this is important to me in a relationship, but I do not go to services on a regular basis.
