She feels content, hopeful and yet yearning, longing Secure with the familiarity of her surroundings, The warmth, the gentle breeze and the salty fragrance of the air She waits with a patience never experienced before; a patience that longs to be rewarded.She senses his presence in the air, his sight on the same stars in the sky And at this moment, although many times before in this same place She waits happily, heart racing and with a knowing feeling, That he will come along and take her hand in his And share the remainder of the journey She waits for this one man, waits for his gentle eyes and radiant smile Peace will find its way and joy will abound When the two shall embrace and complete one another. Perhaps this poem I wrote will give you insight into the passion that stirs in my soul. I am seeking a quality man who is on the same page, has common interests and desires ONLY me.
