I am a widower with five adult children, semi-retired from a great job . . .actually a company that I founded 25 years ago. I recently sold it and work on an intermittent and consulting basis. Finally - I have time for lots of Great activities . . . snow skiing, bicycling, working out/dedicated exercise (enjoy?), golf, kayaking, reading current affairs, mystery novels, movies (at home and in the theater) and travel. I enjoy going out to eat, whether it be a great diner that serves awesome breakfasts or “fine” dining. I equally enjoy cooking at home, especially the preparation of a meal that includes wine and excellent conversation.

I have enjoyed the privilege of being able to travel some. But, I believe that Rochester, NY is one of the best mid-sized cities in the USA! I live in Western New York, the Finger Lakes region, I think, one of the Very Best areas in the entire world. This is a Great region to explore and to have a partner to enjoy the adventure.

You would be intelligent, self confident, proud of your accomplishments, concerned with your physical condition and appearance, be socially adroit, but also feel most comfortable in jeans and an old shirt. I am aware and appreciate that your children (grandchildren?) should be paramount to you and that (all to) frequently work may have to come first. Although I am 61 years old (youthful, I hope), your age is probably more important to you than it would be to me.
