I dont like the concept of a first date, so i always just stick to a "get together" for a first meeting for drinks. that way nobody has any obligation to stick around if things dont click.

but once the initial meeting is done, i like to invite you around and cook you a lovely meal (beef fillet on garlic mash with red wine jus is my specialty), and then spend the evening engaged in conversation to learn about each other.

perhaps this is something better learnt over time, as there are so many things i'd love to do i couldnt just list them here. and i usually take the bull by the horns and just do those things when an opportunity arises.
